De Engelandvaart, 1940, May 14-15This story of the voyage of the ZEEMANSHOOP from Scheveningen with 42 passengers and a crew of four university students has been completely rewritten.
Radboud Hack, the son of Harry Hack, the "Captain" of the crew of students has sent me a new very detailed account of the voyage written by his father.
Karel Dahmen, the only surviving crew member, has described how they "hijacked" the ZEEMANSHOOP.
And "The engine was started by two Scheveningen men J. Pronk and M. Rog."

Can you - or they - provide further details?
