While awaiting a berth at Dunston Coal Staithes, Tyneside, 28/10/62, the opportunity is being taken by her crew to carry on the good work of keeping the ship looking very smart. The woodwork on her bridge front looks particularly attractive.
Another job waiting attention will be the fixing of wire mesh between the upright posts along her decks which will retain a deck cargo of coke
